Habitual criminals should be considered for the death penalty
Habitual criminals are a burden on society. They cost the public money in the form of increased insurance premiums as well as loss or damage to property.
Also the costs of policing, judicial process and incarceration are a major outlay for the Exchequer.
Introduce a point system whereby if an individual reaches a pre-designated total they are automatically consider for the death penalty.
That penalty to be carried out within 1 year of conviction to allow for any appeal to be heard.
