Include in syllabus for ALL schools with 14 - 16 age group pupils the following subjects;
a) Basic First Aid
b) Basic Road Safety Courtesy
c) Consideration for ALL other members of society
Road casualties (18 - 25 age group = 30%;proportion of all drivers 8%) What point in higher education if pupil dead within a few years? Next highest group = 80 years+ (often pedestrians) Only way to enforce laws effectively is by self enforcement - look at figures for today - bad weather - worse driving standards by a selfish & inconsiderate minority - educate them -save costs of enforcement (Consider: smoking now anti social due to education)
