Petition Action

give people aged 16-18 the chance to vote

Additional Information

Sixteen year olds should be given the chance to participate in our democratic society and express their views.
Legally 16 year olds can make a variety of life changing decisions such as joining the army and yet are unable to vote in Great Britain.
The Government should act decisively and introduce measures to grant 16-18 year olds the chance to vote and end the feeling of disenfranchisement many young people experience.
