Reform out of hours GP services
GP practices need to offer a complete seven day service,with full working and out of hours service managed through their own practice.
Full coverage and direct access to your own GP practice seven days a week (with no half days) needs to be introduced with the hours and coverage managed through a rota system.
This will reduce the demand on A&E services as the public in general feel the current out of hours ' phone call diagnosis' is inadequate and see the hospital as their only point of assistance.
