Whiplash injuries should be verifiable by imaging techniques (like CT, MRI, ultrasound) BEFORE compensation becomes payable by insurance companies

Additional Information

About 20% of all motoring insurance premiums are currently used to pay £2bn compensation for whiplash injuries every year. It has been estimated that motor insurance claims has increased by 30% within 3 years. Medical imaging techniques like CT, MRI, X-rays, ultrasound should indicate a physiological damage before compensation for whiplash injuries becomes payable by insurance companies. Profit making unsolicited phone calls and text to refer potential claimants to ‘no win no fee’ solicitors should be banned.
