Seize the assets of those instrumental in the banking collapse

Additional Information

Where the actions of individuals can be seen to have directly led to the banking collapse (e.g. Fred Goodwin's contribution as cited in the FSA report on the collapse of RBS) then their assets are seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Such actions by the Crown, would go some way to placate the general publics' perception and anger that bankers and financiers have "got away scott free" and are in fact, along with the rest of the population, paying for their reckless and cavalier acts.
