Keep the NHS Bill
Many of us live in areas of the country with poor performing hospitals, high mortality rates and poor aftercare. The Bill will increase competition (this exists and was introduced by the last government) and all research indicates that this will improve our mortality rates which according to international comparisons is dreadful. Removing tiers of administration will redirect funds to frontline services. Further, local commissioning of services will be bettter as to will legislation to ensure Patients have a say.
The government should resist attempts to derail the Bill by those who seek to make political capital or the vested interests of those employed by the NHS and their unions.
