Complusory school education in politics and economics

Additional Information

At this moment in time politics and economics are part of compulsory education is schools. This needs to be changed.

If children are educated in these areas then they will be able to firstly give a more educated vote. Many young first time voters are confused, as they do not understand what the different parties are representing.

Secondly, the teaching of these subjects may inspire young people to further their knowledge, and result in a larger variety of politicians. One great problem of today is that there is a limited voting choice, who are not of the highest calibre.
