A Debate on Quantitative Easing: Including a clear and simple explanation: A review of alternative uses of such volumes of printed money.

Additional Information

Have a debate in the house to explain to people exactly what Quatitative Easing is, where the money goes, what the objectives are and what alternatives there may be for such volumes of money.

For example: £350bn of Quantitative Easing equates to 15% of National Income. Who actually benefits? The public have a right to a clear debate and explanation as this printed money could, for example, be spent on government projects that fuel employment and positive consumer spending cycles.

Let's hope it's not just funding banks and bankers bonus' - let's have a transparent explanation and analysis of exactly where this money is going.
