Stop the government spy programme
This government are proposing to implement a law which saves the details of text messages, phone calls, emails and every website visited by members of the public.
The Government is set to order broadband providers and phone companies to save texts, emails or phone calls will not be kept but information on the senders, recipients and their geographical whereabouts will be saved.
Direct messages to users of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter will also be saved and so will information exchanged between players in online video games.
This plan, will not only jeopardise the individuals personal and private safety, but will also lure in hackers to access your private data and use in identity fraud. The government cannot safeguard your information as such. It is an infringement on Civil Rights and contrary to the Data Protection Act 1998. This law, if passed is illegal.
