Drop plans for the warrantless monitoring and logging of all electronic communications
Under the Communications Capabilities Development Program, the government seeks to order internet service providers and other communications companies to store detailed logs of calls, text messages, emails, instant messages, Facebook/Twitter private messages, skype calls and messages, in-game communications as well as web browsing histories for a year and make them available in real time to security services, without a warrant.
The government must drop these plans and any other schemes designed to facilitate mass surveillance without warrant or due process.
