Shorten School days
Shorten the school days.
Shorten the school days.Countries such as Finland have done it and it has proved that it helps as 93% of students end up graduating higher education.By shortening the school days, students wouldn't be as stressed about going to school and their grades would be higher. Fewer school hours per day would permit students to have enough time to study, complete school assignments, participate in after-school activities and be able to get to bed by a decent hour.Teachers can provide more 1-on-1 time with each student in their classroom, allowing for specific weaknesses to be personally addressed and also complete and mark students work which would release pressure of them which is known to help performance.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The length of the school day, and decisions about homework, are decisions for schools and their governing bodies to make.
If you would like the Department for Education to issue guidelines, or impose requirements on schools, about the length of the school day you could start a petition asking for that.
