Petition Action

estate agents and landlords why discriminate against good prospective tenants who are on housing benefit

Additional Information

estate agents and landlord discriminating people because they are on housing benefit, most houses are full of damp but trying to get another property is causing to be a problem for most people with needing guarantor and of course our credit checks which cost sometimes over £200.but still we get discriminated because we are on housing benefit, sometimes people cant work due to ill health or disability,, we understand that there is bad tenants out there but surely we should all not be tied with the same brush, they should have some sort of system that estate agents landlords can look up ad find good tenants, and tenants can do the same with them, it is very upsetting for most people
believe me there is worse landlords out there then there is tenants
also rents are stupid money people cant afford to pay so we end up in poor housing, most cases its the children who suffer
