Get volunteers from people already entering transport system to improve hygiene
Improve hygiene where spread is worst, mobilise a large free motivated human resource, practical message
Research shows cleaning airports signif reduces pandemic spread and higher risk also on bus and tube
The recession and costs of undertaking some of this tasks with the huge footfall defeating
The current message about Covid-19 addressed with simple focus on handwashing should not be confused or diluted
The enormous cost of changing surface hygiene when taken on by institutions
Psychological benefits of constructive action
To mobilise quicker to try and reduce pandemic
