Corrections and clarifications in UK media to be as prominent as original story
The UK media needs to be more transparent when they have decieved the public.
In the current political climate of "Fake news" many news outlets publish corrections and clarifications daily, yet these are deliberately buried within ad pages, or online in a section with no direct link from their
homepage and are often missed by readers.
The UK media needs to be held actually accountable for any deception of the public.
We the public want it to be made into law that the correction and clarification of a false news story must be displayed as prominently as the original story, for example a front page story which is misleading should have a front page correction and clarification.
