This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you want the Government and Public Health Englands response to COVID-19 to be investigated, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government or Parliament to do to achieve this.

Several parliamentary committees are already looking at the Government and Public Health England's response to COVID-19.

The Health Committee has launched an inquiry into "Preparations for Coronavirus": committees.parliament.uk/work/81/preparations-for-coronavirus/

The Home Affairs Committee Committee has launched an inquiry into "Home Office preparedness for Covid-19 (Coronavirus)": committees.parliament.uk/work/184/home-office-preparedness-for-covid19-coronavirus/

The Work and Pensions Committee has written to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions about implications of COVID-19 for that department: publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm5801/cmselect/cmworpen/correspondence/04032020-ST-to-TC-re-Coronavirus.pdf
