Petition Action

UK Government to require all animals to be effectively stunned before slaughter.

Petition Details

We, together with the RSPCA and the British Veterinary Association call for an immediate ban to non -stun Slaughter as per the RSPCA
and BVA letter to the Defra Minister, George Eustice MP calling for urgent action to end non-stun slaughter in England.

Additional Information

Non stun is not compassionate, is not justifiable and is increasing rather than decreasing. Some 60,000 sheep were killed in 2018 without any pre - stunning.
