Petition Action

Allow parents to temporarily home educate without being penalised during Covid19

Petition Details

We would like the government to at least consider allowing parents to remove their children for a few months/up to a year without being fined, having legal action taken against them or losing the child's place in school.

Additional Information

Many parents would like to remove their children from school during this Covid-19 outbreak and home educate temporarily, without losing their child's school place. At the moment, fines and legal action are making this impossible. This is especially worrying when the children themselves or family members already have health concerns.
