Petition Action

Stop or postpone large gatherings during the Coronavirus outbreak

Petition Details

People can spread the coronavirus even when they aren't sick. Many people can be infected in large gatherings, especially those in closed spaces.
Stop or postpone large gatherings of over 1000 people.

Additional Information

As we can find in published peer-reviewed medical papers, asymptomatic carriers of the coronavirus can also shed it and transmit this to other people. If one such person attends a large gathering, uncountable people could be infected. If the health system becomes overwhelmed with COVID-19 cases, what will happen to others who need care?
Please stop or postpone large gatherings for the sake of the health and well-being of the general public!
