Petition Action

Delay all GCSE and A-Level exams if schools are closed due to COVID-19.

Petition Details

If all schools and colleges are closed due to COVID-19, students would be losing crucial learning time for their GCSEs and A-Levels and it would simply be unfair to carry out these exams without students being fully prepared.

Additional Information

If schools and colleges were closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak many students would be at a terrible disadvantage when it comes to their GCSE and A-Level exams as they would’ve missed crucial student-teacher contact time. If exams were to go ahead, while closing all schools, we would be neglecting this academic years students’ and their life chances.

If this outbreak does lead to a shutdown of all educational institutions GCSEs and A-Levels exams should be delayed until an appropriate date.
