Reallocate decision making of disability benefits from the DWP
Following the exposé on Panorama showing how the DWP act/speak about people suffering from Fibromyalgia; and that 73% of PIP appeals are upheld against the DWP; and the investigation into the destruction of the peer reviews into the suicides of those who unfairly had their benefits taken away;
We want a full investigation into the institutional discrimination that has been and is displayed by the DWP, a reallocation of the disability benefit decision-making process, and a review of prior DWP decisions to prevent the discrimination from continuing to disadvantage those in need.
These benefits are to support sick people; not be so hard to access that those in need are too sick to continue pursuing help, nor should the process drive people to their death, yet this is what is happening.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure whether you want a public inquiry into the work of the DWP, or changes to how benefit claimants are assessed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
