Petition Action

More needs to be done to protect elderly and the vulnerable (young and old)

Petition Details

More action & practical help/support to protect elderly & the vulnerable.
Limit travel.
Give more practical & realistic advice washing your hand is not enough.
To care & think more about those more at risk instead of just seeing them as an age or a health problem young/ old we all matter the same

Additional Information

Washing your hands is basic common sense. Yet people are ignoring that advice.
I care for someone & we rely on hand gels etc daily yet the people that need it can’t get hold on any.
Most of us are doing what we need to but unless everyone follows then it’s all pointless.
It time our government put things into action to protect us all, we can’t protect ourselves without more being done. I don’t want to have to lose someone to this virus or see others in pain. Hygiene & contain isn’t working

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you want more to be done to protect the elderly and vulnerable from COVID-19 but it's not clear what action you would like the Government to take to achieve this.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
