Support event businesses who have to cancel mass gatherings due to Coronavirus.
With the current uncertainty on Coronavirus and the possibility of cancellations the events industry, the sector is scared with no support from the government.
Why do we need support? It's because since the SARS outbreak in 2001 no event insurance company in the UK will cover you for cancellation due to Communicable diseases. This even applies if the government cancel mass gatherings in the UK.
The average venue in the UK has 80% of its space booked 12 months in advance and moving dates can sometimes not be an option.
The loss in revenue and the cost of cancelling events due to Coronavirus could be huge and many companies could go under as a result.
