Urging people to work from home, if practicable, during COVID19 crisis in the UK
We would like the government to strongly and urgently encourage all UK employees to work from home as much as practicably feasible during the COVID19 crisis, in addition to taking any appropriate actions to prevent further spread and protect elderly and other vulnerable people from this disease.
I think that we’ve to look outside the big scale of impacts on our work or economy at this stage and really understand that the only way to protect elder/vulnerable people from this disease is to reduce as soon as possible the risks that a high number of people will be infected by this virus. This is what we should learn from other countries where the outbreak occurred earlier than in the UK and they have taken recently drastic measures to restrict movement of people and promote self-isolation.
