Pay Carer's a living wage/income/allowance, £64 a week is not enough.
Truly sanded to see in today's budget (11/3/2020) no levelling up for Carer's. Basic salary of an MP was increase by 2.7% from 1 April 2019 from the current rate of £77,379 to £79,468. Whilst the Carer's allowance £66 a week, and an income cap of £9984 (subtracting the annual Carer's allowance
Pay Carer's a living wage/income/allowance based on the minimum wage. Plus other support such as dental and relief on pension payments. Carer's save the tax pay millions (and relieve NHS beds & services) by looking after individuals at home, but loose an income/job. They are not able to save/invest and pay into personal pensions. Hence having nothing to retire on or in some cases service and pay off the mortgage. Yet MP's & Civil Servants are happy to give them selves a pay rise. Morally Wrong
