Lower the age a child has a footprint
Lower the age a can speak for themselves and have their wishes and concerns listened to when dealing with custody issues
At the moment the age a child can have a say and be taken serious is 9.
There are many children out there that are a lot younger who have Ben put in danger by cafcass because the court has gone on cafcass report deming the applicant parent fit. The cildren in these cases if under 9 do not get a say and are being forced to spend time with and in environments and situations they are uncomfortable with and are being put in places of danger . These children are being traumatised and forced to do something they do not want to do. I would like to see the law changed for children to be able have their wishes met and be aloud a voice from the age of 5.
