Introduce a basic form of monetary education at secondary school.

Petition Details

We want the Government or Parliament to implement a form of monetary education into the secondary curriculum. We believe that a basic understanding of finances is vital throughout the entirety of everyone's lives. Examples of what should be taught are; how student loans work and how taxes work.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The national curriculum for England already includes managing money well and making sound financial decisions.

You could start a petition calling for additional aspects of financial planning to be included in the curriculum.
