Petition Action

Reduce the risks of a Covid-19 epidemic: avoid delay, it's time to act.

Petition Details

Strongly encourage all businesses that have the possibility to allow their employees to work from home, and to postpone non-urgent meetings or arrange them through videoconference.

Discourage all travel if not essential.

Postpone large public events.

Test everyone with cold/flu symptoms.

Additional Information

We have seen what's happening in Italy and the UK is still on time to adopt early measures that will contribute to contain and/or delay the spread of Covid-19. It is "very likely" that the UK will face an epidemic (Prime minister). 60 to 80% will be infected (Angela Merkel). Covid-19 is now a pandemic (WHO). This is an unprecedented event. Government should adopt some reasonable measures now, having seen the extraordinary situation.
