HMG should allocate funds to transform libraries fit for 21st century like adequate access & training for internet, emails, e-books & new IT devices

Additional Information

Libraries can also be staffed mainly by volunteers, which will help the unemployed as job references, etc. Libraries are useful community places for private study & should not only have a collection of reference and lending books, videos. Libraries should become useful community hubs serving as centres where the community can meet for private study, stage performances, neighbourhood meetings, sports & recreation, café facilities; as well citizens’ advice on education, travel, health, jobs search, housing, etc. Libraries should also have ADEQUATE access & training for members on electronic ways of communication like access to the internet & emails on provider’s websites, e-books, iplayers, digital 24 hour news & other new developing innovative means of electronic IT communication.
