put a pause on mortgage payments and house hold bills due to coronavirus
To stop extra worry and stress, pause mortgage, rent and household utilities in event of country on lockdown due to coronavirus to avoid virus spread
The average person is one pay cheque away from being homeless at present we need stability. If the government doesn’t do this we have problems of people going out and trying to work whilst sick and spreading the virus

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Suspending payments for mortgages and other household bills is a matter for mortgage and service providers, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
We have published a petition calling for the Government to implement Universal Basic Income to give home and food security during the coronavirus outbreak: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302284
