Restore the right of all pensioners to draw down their pension pot as they wish
Restore the right to all pensioners, regardless of any exiting annuities, to draw down all or some portion of their pension pot. All pensioners over 75 should automatically have this right. Anyone with a potentially fatal illness should also have this right regardless of age.
Many annuity holders could make more sensible, immediate use of their own money and no longer have to pay administration fees to the pension pot holder.
