COVID19 keep children home from school if there are at risk people in household
The coronavirus can spread easily through children at school. Whilst they may not suffer severe symptoms themselves, they may have at risk family members in their household. E.g, elderly relatives or people with existing health conditions. Protecting these people will help to slow the peak.
Allow parents, where they are able, to keep children at home if there are people in their household who are at risk of severe COVD19 symptoms. Encourage schools to provide lesson access via Skype or other video/technology solutions.
