Petition Action

Provide facility for self isolation to protect family members against covid19

Petition Details

Make necessary arrangement as soon as possible by creating self isolation centers where people can just walk in and have medical check up for covid19 Corona virus infection and can stay there in isolation if needed in order to protect their family members and loved one's against the infection.

Additional Information

Because current government guideline asking people for self isolation in their own home during covid19 infection puts their family members life at risk so for them who do not want to stay with their family members has no choice but to go to hospital ending up creating un necessary burden on NHS hospitals.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The action you suggest appears to be the same as calling for people with coronavirus to be hospitalised, which is a clinical decision.

You might want to be aware that self-isolating means staying at home and not mixing with other people, which is different to what your petition suggests.
