Allow healthy men to volunteer and be infected with COVID-19 for herd immunity.
Could the government set up camps in school sports halls for healthy men 18-40 to be infected voluntarily and wait out the infection with free beer! To qualify, a volunteer will need to prove their lungs are healthy by running round the schools field in a set time. It’s fast and cost effective.
The UK needs herd immunity as there isn’t a vaccine yet. The elderly and vulnerable are at greater risk and we’re all going to catch COVID-19 at some point! So why not manage it with volunteers.
Why men! Logistically it’s easier. 1000 men in each School sports hall, will share the showers and WC. The school canteen can cater with donated food.
This plan could be implemented around the school Easter break.
As I set this petition up, I’m happy to volunteer first.
