Ban the hoarding of vital goods
All over the country, supermarket shelves are empty as people panic buy essential goods. Some even buy with the goal of exploiting a crisis, by selling on goods at exorbitant prices. Introducing price controls and banning hoarding will ensure that vulnerable people can access everyday products.
The Chinese government, which has so far led the way in the fight against Coronavirus, have criminalised hoarding to ensure that everyone can access everyday items. The British government should follow suit.
