Government to offer economic assistance to Tourism Industry affected by COVID-19
For the UK to provide economic assistance to business in the Tourism Industry, who are suffering unforeseen financial challenges that could have a profound effect on hundreds of thousands of people employed in the sector.
the UK Tourism Industry is facing an unprecedented challenge as a result of the Coronavirus COV-19 outbreak.
Looking at direct impacts only, tourism contributes £48 billion, supporting 1.4 million jobs ,and this is only in England- Everyone within the industry in the UK are nervous about how their income may be affected as result of this pandemic's impact.
I would like the government to provide support to business & Individuals struggling at this critical time.
