UK Government to continue with Community Testing for COVID-19 (Track & Trace)
UK Government to continue with community testing for COVID-19.
Reinstate testing stations within communities as per phase 1 (containment /detect). Apparently new testing kits (results within 10 minutes) have been produced and be available within weeks for NHS & public. Provide free at test stations
The Government /Public Health needs a true and accurate recording /database of the virus location.
We can't fight or contain the virus if we don't know the location or who has it. With community testing currently halted, with only hospital admissions being tested, this will not tell the true story of the UK outbreak. Therefore UK government statistics will be extremely low and inaccurate for positive results. This data will be extremely useful for fighting viruses now & further virus outbreaks.
