Petition Action

stop people panic buying items in bulk and/or reselling items to make profit!

Petition Details

Place a restriction on shops selling multiples of items to customers, forcing other customers to have to go without. It’s clear the shops allowing this to happen don’t care about the welfare of the people they just want to make money!

Additional Information

I have 2 children and sympathise with other parents of young children. People are buying multiples of items due to panic buying or in some cases just to resell the items for a higher price. People buying baby formula just to resell to make a profit.
Elderly or disabled being restricted on when they’re able to go to the shops only to find shops are empty due to people panic buying.
People on benefits who can’t afford to buy in bulk and have to buy food on specific days being forced to go without
