Close the United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland border immediately.
Immediately close the United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland border to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
As the schools are being closed and other countries, especially countries within the EU, are suspending travel, it is imperative that cross border travel be curtailed. With the NHS responding to a crisis, health services in Northern Ireland also cannot afford the extra burden and expense of providing healthcare to people who might have arrived from the Republic.
