The UK Government to stop subsidising the rail link to Scotland if Scotland goes independent.
The UK Government (the tax payer) subsidises the railway system to over 4 billion pounds a year.
Why should the UK government pay to keep the rail line open to Scotland if it goes independent?
If the rail line is profitable, a subsidy should not be needed.
