The DWP should cancel all face to face benefit appointments during the panedimc.
To reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 the government should move DWP meetings from face to face, to over the phone and internet.
As it stands claimants must attend and sanctions are likely to apply.
Currently we are living in uncertain and worrying times. A global panedimc of Covid-19.
I am a healthy person physically. However I am largely self isolating as a means of reducing the likelihood of spreading the virus.
In the past for other reasons I have had a phone call appointment arranged and been able to email documents over.
I have a benefits meeting next week and it seems absurd to me that the British government continues to send claimants, into meetings at the Jobcentre.
