Identification of the material of plastic packaging

Additional Information

All manufacturers of recyclable plastic packaging should incorporate moulded-in identification of the material from which the item is made, to aid sorting by consumers for recycling.

At present not all local authorities will accept all types of plastics for recycling. This requires some consumers to be able to identify different types of plastics.
