UK drivers should not have to provide their sexuality towards Insurance policies
Insurance companies use gender as a way to judge a driver. Because of this male drivers are more likely to pay more for a policy than a female driver as they are seen more “dangerous”. This is discrimination against a persons sexuality and it is only right every driver gets the same treatment.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is is already illegal for insruance companies to use a driver's gender to calculate their motor insurance.
Following a ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) in 2012, insurers can no longer take gender into account when quoting the cost of car insurance.
