UK Superstores to open ONLY for elderly, for one hour, every day during COVID-19
Major UK Supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi and Lidl (among others) should open only for one hour for the elderly or less abled people, allowing them to do their weekly shop without fear of having items snatched from under them by more able people. They deserve to be taken care of to!
Our society are too greedy to care about the elderly who are more prone to viruses like this one! Gov need to help them!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The opening arrangements for supermarkets are a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or Parliament. A number of retailers have announced plans to open early for elderly or vulnerable customers. You should contact your local supermarket to find out if they have put such arrangements in place.
The Government has made certain changes to enable supermarkets to work together during the coronavirus outbreak, particularly to serve customers who are elderly, ill or vulnerable: www.gov.uk/government/news/supermarkets-to-join-forces-to-feed-the-nation
