Refuse to bail out airlines in response to Covid-19
Refuse to bail out airlines as a response to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Instead use the money to assist the physically and financially vulnerable individuals in our society.
Air lines are not only owned by extremely rich people but contribute massively to the climate crisis.
Individuals are suffering far more on a much more widespread basis.
Using the billions currently being proposed as a bailout to an incredibly harmful industry to instead help individual people and families struggling to pay their rent, buy food and over-the-counter medicines would have a far bigger impact, both socially and economically.
Don't bail out big business, bail out ordinary people.
