Set 6 as the minimum IELTS score required for health professionals in UK
Thousands of Doctors, Nurses and Dentists want to come to work in UK, but are unable to get the required English language proficiency that is currently IELTS academic level 7, I know a few who are getting levels of 6 and keep trying and trying but it's not easy for someone from science background.
Force the Regulators to adjust the language requirements to a more realistic level

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The English language requirements for healthcare practitioners are set by the independent regulators for these professions, not the Government or Parliament.
We have published a petition calling on the Government to Help international healthcare professionals to join the NHS, including by liaising with professional bodies to ask for exemptions to the registration process for these workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/308572
