Set up a Universal Basic Income (UBI) scheme as part of the emergency measures
Most small businesses and family's couldnt cope with the financial pressures of being off of work with the current low sick pay.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic it is only fair if the UK government came in line with other countries on helping their citizens at at time when they are most in need.
Other countries are starting to rise up and help their own by offering universal basic income during self isolation.
It is time that the UK government followed suit and made a financial effort to help. For info on UBI click the link https://www.wired.co.uk/article/universal-basic-income-explained
It is important to do this, not only to ensure the survival our people, but also of our nation.
To strengthen each link in the chain we will strengthen our economy amidst these uncertain times.
