Minimum payment for Lorry Drivers week day 15£p/h.

Petition Details

Lorry drivers is very responsibility for load and all of transport in the road. We need real payment for it. Not warehouse pay. We want to have minimum 15£ p/h on week days, one and half p/h on saturdays and double p/h on sundays.

Additional Information

Employers want drivers for rubish monay, agencys pay same lower rates. We want decent earnings for drivers.

The UK Government sets a National Minimum Wage and a National Living Wage, which applies to all workers. The Government and Parliament are not responsible for setting minimum wages for particular industries. This is a matter for individual employers.
