Prolong containment efforts for Covid-19 instead of implementing herd immunity.
In light of the spread of Covid 19, our government should continue testing individuals for the virus and efforts to trace and quarantine their contacts. Without doing this, we have no means of measuring the rate of infection amongst the population, which surely leads to wider spread of the disease.
This approach is in line with advice from the WHO and takes lead from other countries, countries where the rate of new cases has seen a sharp decline.
