Set out the science, modelling & decision criteria for the UK Covid19 strategy.
to examine with the help of the UK scientific community if its herd immunity strategy is feasible in the light of current scientific research and to estimate how many people will die in the coming year if the government's strategy is implemented as compared to strategies adopted elsewhere.
The Covid19 strategy must be based on reliable information that does not gamble with people's lives but takes account of the possibility that Covid19 immunity may not be long lasting and a warning in the Journal of Virology of the possibility of a more serious outbreak if there is just one mutation of this virus. The government's strategy must not make it easier for this to happen nor undermine global attempts to contain the virus.
